The Ambassador of Nepal to the Republic of Korea His Excellency Kaman Singh Lama presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Korea His Excellency Lee Myung-bak amidst a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace Cheong Wa Dae today. Presenting his Letters of Credence, His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed the message of the President of Nepal to the President of Republic of Korea for his good health and happiness as well as continued peace and progress of the Korean people. Mr. Ambassador also mentioned the importance of exchange of high level bilateral visits in strengthening the existing relations and further exploring the potential areas of bilateral cooperation. He assured that he would be engaged in enhancing the bilateral relations for the benefit of both the Governments and people of Nepal and Korea. Accepting the Letters of Credence of His Excellency the Ambassador of Nepal, the president congratulated him and expressed his hope that the Ambassador would be success in his mission of further promoting and consolidating Korea- Nepal relations to a new height. During the occasion, His Excellency Kim Sung-hwan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Chang Hojin, Secretary to the President for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Kang Nam-hoon, Secretary to the President for Knowledge Economy form the Korean side and Mr. Raja Ram Bartaula, Deputy Chief of Mission and Mr. Tulsi Koirala, Attaché of the Embassy of Nepal were present.
